Baycrest Hospital

Creative Arts Program

Currently, the Baycrest Hospital is interested in having volunteers to teach their residents how to do Origami, in a one-on-one basis. This Creative Arts Program also runs during the school year, which would be perfect for university volunteers.

To become a volunteer at Bacyrest, first you would need to call in at 416-785-2500 ext. 2572 to set up an Orientation date. This gives an opportunity for you to visit the site and get a feel of what Baycrest is like and talk to their friendly Volunteer Department – you’re gonna love it! When you’re there, tell them you are from F.O.L.D. partnership and the Baycrest people will walk you through more thoroughly. But to get some heads-up, it is best described in the following webpage:

Note: Police check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) is for volunteers 18+ and may be obtained at your residential region police force; any fees will be reimbursed by Baycrest.

After you completed all the volunteer requirement on Baycrest’s side, please contact F.O.L.D. at ut.fold@gmail.com with the subject line Baycrest Hospital Partnership and your name. Our Baycrest Coordinator will get in touch with you soon so that you can officially start your volunteering. Thank you!
