1. Drop-in Workshop at Sidney Smith

On Thursday, January 28th, we will be teaching modular origami at the Sidney Smith Lobby.Modular origami is a type of origami where two or more sheets of paper are folded into units, or modules. The units are then assembled to create amazing, complex geometric shapes. Drop by any time between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to learn more about this popular paper-folding technique. Paper and instructions will be supplied.

2. Club Crawl at Sussex Clubhouse

FOLD will be taking part in the annual Sussex Club Crawl on Thursday, January 28 from  2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (following the drop-in workshop!) at the Sussex Clubhouse. This year’s theme is Sherlock Holmes! This is your chance to interact with over fifty campus groups, enjoy some free food, and maybe even win a prize! We hope you join us for what will no doubt be an amazing time. The Clubhouse is located at 21 Sussex Avenue (behind Robarts Library).

3. Volunteer at Toronto Western Hospital

This is a reminder to those who have completed the online application to volunteer at the TWH. Please remember to submit your immunization form to complete the application process.

4. Origami Library

Currently, we have about a dozen origami books for the club. As previously mentioned, we hope to add more books to our collection and members are encouraged to request photocopies of instructions of interest. If you would like to suggest books for our library, feel free to email us the title and the author of the book(s)!

5. Office Hours

The office hours will start the week of January 25th. If you would like to come by before then, feel free to email us to make the arrangement.
