Who We Are
Fly with Origami, Learn to Dream (UTFOLD) was founded in the summer of 2007 on University of Toronto’s St. George campus. To current date, UTFOLD is still University of Toronto’s only origami club. The club shares the joy of origami by gathering together a community of origami lovers and hobbyists all towards our goal of promoting the educational and entertainment values of the traditional art of paper-folding.
Our Mission
The club’s mission is to introduce and promote the entertainment values as well as the educational values of origami, thereby generating public interest in the creation of traditional paper artwork. We serve the UofT’s population and the community at large, including a number of hospitals and community organizations in the area, by providing weekly to monthly themed workshops, hosting outreach initiatives and collaborations, and taking on various charitable projects over each academic year.
