Robert Lang took origami into a more theoretical route, a physicists that aims to study the science of origami. The mathematics of origami can be said to be attractive, and it is this attraction that drove Robert Lang to create several of his models, so much so that the above origami is folded from instructions in the book Origami Design Secrets: Mathematical Methods for an Ancient Art.
