On Friday February 28th, F.O.L.D. Executive Committee attended the annual Unity Ball hosted by the University of Toronto Student Union (UTSU). We had a great time meeting student leaders from a diverse set of organizations on the UTSG campus, loved Spire Fusion’s Chinese Western classical music performance, and loved the food and the candy bar at the event venue! Our Incoming Vice-President External Lucy Yeung even won a $50 gift card to the UofT Bookstore during the raffle draw!

However, nothing can be as sweet and satisfying as receiving the UTSU Club Leadership Award for Outstanding Creative Arts half way through the night! We are so humbled and honoured that we were able to receive such a recognition for our club this year! We thank all those who had consistently supported us through this journey – we could not have gotten this far without all you guys! We love you all and will work harder next year to put up even BETTER events for you all!!
