Elephant Origami

    Learn to fold a variety of elephants with origami enthusiast, Deepa Bhandari, and take home an exciting package of model diagrams to try out!

    Models range from beginner to advance levels (new to origami? come!), FREE to attend, all materials provided, and everyone welcomed.

    Deepa Bhandari is an artist and educator and has been practicing origami for the last four years. She has conducted origami workshops for children and adults in India and Toronto. As a member of the Origami Society of Toronto, she has exhibited work in the Toronto Maker Festival 2015 and 2016, at the Toronto Reference Library. She regularly presents her work and teaches at the monthly meetings of the Society.

    As an educator she worked for several years at the British Museum Library in London UK, setting up satellite library facilities around the museum to encourage families to read. In India she worked with the Agastya International Foundation to help setup small scale libraries and reading programmes serving underprivileged children.

    Born and raised in India, she now lives in Courtice, Ontario.
