This marks the beginning of the rose project. The plan is to make some roses, sell them to romantics, and donate the proceeds/leftover roses to SickKids.

We’ll need to involve all the FOLD members we can for this. The execs’ll teach you how to make the rose—head, calyx, leaves, stem, and assembly—and if each of us contribute a few roses, we’ll have enough for the project.

The first workshop is scheduled as follows

And yes, that means there will be a second workshop as well, probably the week after. For many of you, the full rose will be your most ambitious undertaking yet, so I recommend coming to both.
