Spring Election 2016

Eligibility

Member of the University of Toronto community

Election Process

In order to run in this election, there is a 2-step process that you must go through:

  1. Executive Application – You must complete the Executive Application in order to request for candidacy during this election. In this application, you will be asked to choose your primary and secondary desired position. In the case that you are not elected for the primary position, though not mandatory, you have the opportunity to run again for the second position. The Executive Application is due on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 at 10 p.m
  2. Speech – You must show up on the election day (Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5pm – 7pm at SS1086) and make a speech in front of the UTFOLD audience. If you fail to show up on election day, you will be automatically disqualified from the election. As for the structure of a speech, it usually consists of a self-intro, your qualifications, goals and platform for the club if elected, and anything else that you feel will impress your audience all under the time limit of 2 minutes. Remember your audience consists of active UTFOLD members, current executives, and coordinators.
