Sick of your junk mail? Let’s make something nice out of it. ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธEven if it’s just a trash bin.

Hey folders,

Wanna come to the sustainability workshop? This week, we emptied our mailboxes to bring to you flyers and paper spam mail galore to be transformed into awesome, amazing, astonishing creations (like Larry the Lobster). Don’t see what all the fuss is about? Fine, then just join us ๐Ÿ“†Friday, March 24, โŒš 4:30-6:30 PM at ๐Ÿ“ŒSS1086. At the very least, by the end of the session, you’ll know how to make a simple and nifty box.

Materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own flyers, junk mail, random printer cover pages, tear-stained exam papers, magazines, rejected love letters, construction drawings, disappointing report cards, etc. Just don’t bring fresh, clean, unused printer/ kami paper. Please, we have a theme here. Though, we will have a bit of regular kami on hand if you really, really want to fold. No registration or fee required, come and go as you please.

Also, under the name of reuse, we’ll also be giving away some old models we have lying around in the clubroom, so if you’re looking for a lovely paper friend, but too lazy to make one, here’s the time to adopt! We’ll also be bringing back diagrams from previous workshops too for those who missed some past challenges.

Our lineup this week consists of easy models:
Shark
Lobster
Strong box
Butterfly (different from what we’ve taught in the past)
Elephant
Crane

It is trash can, not trash cannot~ ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ
